This presentation will demonstrate how to correctly install a permeable interlocking concrete pavement, and will show the differences between this pavement and typical interlocking concrete pavement. Learn more about the important differences on sub-base, base, bedding, layout, and installation.

This demonstration will show you how to install a raised patio, and will cover pre-existing conditions, waterproofing, railing and step considerations, wall construction, geogrid, fill materials and drainage.
 

Cleaning and Sealing Concrete Pavers: The Science Behind the Chemistry
Presenter: Phil Graves, Regional Sales Manager, Techni-Seal, Inc.

This demonstration will introduce the science that goes into cleaners and sealers used on interlocking concrete pavers. You will see the revenue potential that maintenance of interlocking concrete pavements can bring to your company. Issues like cleaning efflorescence, film forming, color enhancing, slip resistance and VOC restrictions will be addressed. Additionally, the equipment used to apply these products, like squeegees, rollers and sprayers, will be demonstrated.
 

Masonry Veneer Installation

Stone veneer concrete masonry walls are becoming an eye-catching feature in hardscape projects. This demonstration will be highly educational, and will include an opportunity for some hands-on practice. During the demonstration, the presenters will install masonry veneer material over different substrates such as masonry block and wood frame construction, and highlight the key points of the Masonry Veneer Manufactures Association's (MVMA) Installation Guideline.
