2019 Hardscape North America Installer Championship Regional Winners Announced
Team Registrations Still Being Accepted
The 2019 Hardscape North America Installer Championship competition has announced the regional winners who will join teams on-site at HNA to compete for the championship title. Team registrations are still being accepted for the 7th annual event, which will be held at HNA October 17-18 in Louisville, Kentucky.
The following teams won their regional installer competition events and have been sponsored to compete at Harcscape North America (HNA) 2019:
- Returning 2018 Champion: Segmental Systems
- Southwest Region: Urban Earth Landscaping
- New England Region: Clarke Landscapes
- National Collegiate Landscape Competition 1st Place: Cuyahoga Community College
- National Collegiate Landscape Competition 2nd Place: Brigham Young University - Provo
- Pacific Northwest Region: Shovel and Thumb (2nd place team; 1st place team, Segmental Systems is already sponsored to compete)
- Central Region: CG Paving
- Southeast Region: All Outdoors
The Hardscape North America Installer Championships are intended to test and recognize the skill, dedication and passion of hardscape contractors from Canada, the United States and Mexico. At the national competition, up to 24 teams will have their understanding of industry best practices and guidelines tested in a race against the clock and other top installers in the industry.
The registration fee is $200 per team. All teams who compete in the installer championship event at HNA will have $150 of their registration fee refunded. Teams may download registration forms at https://www.hardscapena.com/attendee/features/installer-champ.
Preliminary rounds will take place Thursday, October 17 in the Hardscape House at Hardscape North America in Louisville, Kentucky. The final Championship round to determine the 2019 National Champion will take place at 9:30am on Friday, October 18. The Hardscape House is the new outdoor display and demonstration area at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
Huge Award Prizes at Stake
The HNA 2019 Champions will receive a prize package valued at approximately $11,600. The package includes $2,500, an iQMS362 16.5" Saw with 16.5" diamond blade ($2,750 value), a Weber MT CF3 forward plate compactor (valued at $3,000), their name engraved on the HNA Installer Championship Cup, a plaque, recognition in various media including Interlock Design Magazine, Hardscape Magazine and HNA website.
The HNA 2019 Second Place team will receive $1,300, an iQ360SC 14" masonry saw with fully-integrated dust collection plus accessories ($2,450 value), a plaque, recognition in various media including Interlock Design Magazine and HNA website.
The HNA 2019 Third Place team will receive $650, a plaque and recognition in various media including Interlock Design Magazine and HNA website.
The HNA 2019 Fourth Place team will receive a plaque and recognition in various media including Interlock Design Magazine and HNA website.
