Fred H. Adams, Jr. is the owner of Fred Adams Paving Co., a North Carolina–based hardscape installation company he founded in 1984. A graduate of NC State University, Fred has spent more than four decades designing and constructing commercial and residential outdoor living spaces and large-scale hardscape projects valued in millions of dollars.
Fred is a recognized leader in the hardscape industry and has been actively involved with the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), now the Concrete Masonry & Hardscape Association (CMHA). He has served on the Board of Directors, as past Secretary/Treasurer of the ICPI Foundation, and chaired Construction and Government Affairs committees.
Fred is passionate about permeable pavement and teaches certification and continuing education courses to contractors, engineers, and architects on stormwater management and sustainable hardscape solutions.
