Tom Kirk is the CEO and Co-Founder of ROMEX Hardscapes North America, where he leads the company’s mission to bring innovative, high-performance hardscape technologies to Canada and the United States.
Raised in Scotland, Tom developed his passion for construction and craftsmanship through his family’s masonry business. From an early age, he gained hands-on experience in stonework and hardscape installation, building a strong foundation in quality workmanship and practical problem-solving. Tom later attained a degree in Construction Project Management from Heriot- Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
After bringing his expertise to North America, Tom recognized the need for more durable, sustainable hardscape solutions capable of meeting the demands of diverse climates and modern infrastructure projects. This vision helped drive the creation of ROMEX Hardscapes North America, introducing advanced German-engineered technologies to the market.
Today, Tom works closely with the ROMEX team as well as contractors, landscape architects, engineers, and municipalities to advance industry standards and promote long-lasting, environmentally responsible hardscape construction throughout North America.
